Hybrid Solar System (ON-GRID  OFFGRID)

A hybrid solar system consists of solar panels, full hybrid inverter and batteries to bank  energy that is used after sun set. Utility grid OR main power source input(eg ESKOM/ ZESA) is also connected as a backup for when the energy demands exceed the available energy from solar generation or inverter size or battery maximum discharge. During the day excess power generated by solar panels is allowed to feed back to the grid. The excess power send to the grid its first supply is non essential load connected only direct to the main in your house before the meter eg stove and geyser . This excess supply does not get over load , because solar will supply what it have to the grid and grid supply what is the balance.
